Program in Applied Mathematics
We offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Applied Mathematics within the Department
of Mathematics.
Research interests in the department include computational fluid mechanics,
granular materials, random processes and statistical physics, physiology and
biomedical applications, fluid dynamics, asymptotic analysis, and materials
science. Many of our projects focus on interdisciplinary problems involving
interactions with faculty in other departments.
