At the geometry forum, a presenter gives an extended lecture on a topic of current or classical geometric interest. The purpose is to foster our collective mathematical growth and expand on our existing knowledge in a dynamic, discussion-oriented environment. Graduate students, post-docs, and faculty are all active in the forum, both as speakers and audience members.
The geometry forum has been active since the fall of 2006 (but only appears in this calendar archive beginning in the fall of 2008). The current organizers are Jeff Jauregui and George Lam.
