Homework (see syllabus) 12%
Quizes 16%
Midterms (2@16% each) 32%
Final 40%

Syllabus: I will follow the syllabus reasonably closely. If there is a change to the order of the syllabus, this will be announced in class and via Blackboard. Be mindful that extra homework problems may be added to the syllabus, these will also be announced in class and posted on Blackboard.

The expected Quiz dates are Feb 2, March 4, April 20. The quizes will be at the beginning of class and should take around 15-20 min.

Homework Policy: You (the students) are allowed to discuss the homework among yourselves and offer advice, but the final product must be your own work. In particular, copying homework or allowing another to copy yours is not allowed and is a violation of Duke's Community Standard. A signed reaffirmation of the Community Standard should be attached to each piece of written work submitted in the course. Homework will be collected each Thursday. Late homework will not be accepted. Moreover, the lowest homework grade will be dropped at the end of the semester.
