Veronica Ciocanel awarded NSF CAREER Award

Professor Veronica Ciocanel holds joint positions in Mathematics (Primary) and Biology (Joint) at Duke University. She works in mathematical biology and uses mathematical modeling, analysis, and numerical simulation to provide insights into intracellular transport and filament organization mechanisms. The NSF award will enable her to integrate these research goals with training mathematics and STEM students in mathematical modeling and data-driven techniques.
