Quantitative uniqueness in mean curvature flow

Speaker(s): William Minicozzi (MIT)
In many geometric problems, singularities are analyzed using a blow analysis that constructs a limit solution from a sequence of dilations around a singularity.  One of the central questions is whether this limit is unique or might it depend on the choice of rescaling?  I will explain work with Toby Colding on this for mean curvature flow.
