Two Invited Speakers at ICM 2026 from Duke Math

Professor Tarek Elgindi and Professor Jianfeng Lu from Duke Math have been invited to speak at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2026, taking place in Philadelphia from July 23 to 26, 2026. The ICM is the world’s most prestigious mathematics conference, held every four years by the International Mathematical Union (IMU) since 1897. During the opening ceremony of the congress, many prestigious awards such as the Fields Medal will be presented.
